Tips for Tasty French Toast   [edit]
Nearly every person can remember having French toast one time or another in his or her lifetime with some being better than others.  Here are a few tips to make your current French toast recipe unforgettable.

When mixing your eggs and milk together, try adding a little cinnamon into the mix.  A definitely addition needed in this part of the process is a teaspoon of vanilla for flavor. Whether it's imitation or pure vanilla extract, either one will enhance your recipe.  Another quick ingredient that adds a little extra pep to your recipe is a dash of nutmeg.

These spices can make your French toast tastier, but do not overload  your mix with them, because they can overpower your breakfast.  Nutmeg is great in moderation, but too much will quickly turn your breakfast guests off to your meal.

Extra toppings can be a great way to add choice to breakfast.  Offer freshly sliced fruit and whipped cream, powdered sugar, or various types of syrup.  Maple syrup is a very popular alternative to regular fructose syrup, so be sure to check it out.  Another uncommon but equally delicious topping is apple sauce.  Apple sauce turns French toast into a makeshift apple turnover.

The best advice is know your guests' preferences.  If you have health conscious eaters that avoid using butter in your pan.  A great alternative to butter is I Can't Believe It's Not Butter or butter-flavored Pam cooking spray. There are plenty of healthy alternatives to conventional ingredients.  I suggest using multi-grain bread, since it's chalked full of a natural colon cleanser called fiber.

Wine Tasting Tips   [edit]
Many wine tasting novices shy away from various tastings.  Inexperience can make one avoid this entertaining practice.  Basically, wine tasting comes down to what tastes you prefer, so don't be afraid to let your opinions on various wines out.

Look at the wine's texture and colors.  You can tell the age of a wine by the colors.  A  younger red wine is generally dark purple, but an old red wine is generally a dark amber color.  A newer white wine is usually light with older white wines being almost golden in color. The colors can be clean and clear or dark and cloudy. Cloudy generally denotes poor wine quality, while clean usually marks good wine making.

Use your sense of smell to gather initial information about the wine.  Smell for a moldy or musty odor.  Is there a vinegary smell?  This is an indication that the wine may have gone bad.  After the initial sniff, take a deep breath and small the various scents of  the wines.

Taste the wine by taking a sip and resting it on your tongue.  While the wine sits on your tongue breathe deeply to savor the flavors and accents of the wine. Notice the weight of the wine in your mouth.  Is it heavy, medium, or light?  Savor the blend of alcohol, sweetness, and acidity of the wine brings about.  There should be a balanced taste between these elements.

Swallow the wine and take notice to the differences in flavor as the wine is moving through your mouth.  This will most likely be a different taste than the step before.  Observe the length of the wine, which means the amount of time the wine's flavor stays on  your palette. The longer the length the better the wine.

Check various wine tasting sites to get an idea how different wine producing regions produce different grapes, which mean different tastes.  Learn to know what you like by getting out there and tasting different wines.  Another option might be to subscribe to wine tasting magazine subscriptions to get a better idea what wines are out there.

Great Ways to Match Shoes with Your Outfit   [edit]
Finding the perfect pair of shoes to set off your new outfit is a great way to managing your style. Would we agree that your favorite outfit just isn't the same without a great pair of shoes to really make it come together? Here are a few great show style tips to help you pair shoes and styles. If you're wearing jeans or corduroys, then stick with some boots, or shoes with think soles. Before deciding to sport some knee-high boots with your new mini-skirt, make sure that the boots don't make your legs look too short. This tends to be a problem for shorter ladies, who try to pull of knee-highs. High heels and platforms work great for nights out. Wear a moderate medium height pair of pumps with skirts for work. This will allow for a professional looks. Consider a rounded toe variation if desired. Business pants should be accompanied by a nice pair of oxfords or loafers. Casual loose pants like palazzo pants work well with espadrilles and open-toed flats. Essentially, combinations are pretty practical, but the best way ensure your shoes match your images is to check yourself in a full-length mirror and to remember closed toed shoes for professional attire. Remember that comfort should be a major priority, when selecting shoes. The look of a shoe is irrelevant, if it doesn't feel right. Remember to accent your outfits with a pair of designer eyeglass to project a different intellectual look. Be comfortable and be stylish... best of luck with your shoe and outfit pairing.
